Adding a post to Facebook that says you don’t agree to their privacy terms is pointless

Facebook1-600x200I’ve noticed a lot of people posting so called legal notices on Facebook that they do not give Facebook permission to share their photos. The fact is that you cannot renegotiate any of the permissions you gave Facebook when you signed up. EVERYBODY signs the same binding contract when they get a Facebook account. The agreement says that you and everybody else have certain choices in your privacy settings to control who sees your information. You are the only one who can control who sees your pictures. Nothing in your privacy settings has any effect on your friend’s privacy. No written note to them will have any effect on your privacy or what they do with your photos.
