Just outside the Texas Hill Country, 22 minutes north of Brownwood on 377, Is the site of the annual Comanche Pow Wow. The event will be held September 22nd and 23rd and is attended annually by 9000 or more. It has become a must attend event for many Texas Hill Country residents. The Comanche Pow Wow features artisans, craftsmen, commercial vendors, antique engine and tractor show and one of the largest classic car shows in Central Texas. It is also a showcase for live entertainment, state-sanctioned BBQ cook-off, photography exhibit, art show, and lots of fantastic food! Held in the beautiful Comanche City Park this weekend promises wonderful weather so come on out!
