I’ve always been a fan of good Cumbia music. I can’t really remember the first time I heard the unique rhythm patterns but there’s just something about it that makes me want to get up and start shuffling around on the dance floor. The fact that I don’t understand the words don’t seem to impact my enjoyment at all. But when a Cumbia comes along where I can actually understand the words, it’s all the more appealing. Speaking of Cumbia- I’ve always thought it strange that you can dance a Cumbia to a Polka beat but I find it impossible dance a Polka to a Cumbia beat. Anyone else having issues with this?
