Oktoberfest is one of the most colorful and festive celebrations in The Hill country. Fredericksburg, seeded with deep roots in German heritage has long been known as the epicenter of German Celebrations in the region. Oktoberfest is an annual tradition around the world and nowhere in the United States is it more celebrated than right here in the center of our Texas Hill Country. October Fest in Fredericksburg is always a community-family oriented event featuring three stages of continuous oompah music, art & crafts, Kinder Park (just for kids), a German Beer Tent, and Vineyard area. It also features OkTUBAfest, Chicken Dancing Around the Square, Domino Tournament, all kinds of food and lots of cold drinks … all weekend long!
