During the course of my life I’ve had the pleasure to become acquainted with a few unusual and eclectic characters. I don’t get to see a lot of them too often but nowadays it’s easy to keep up with their exploits via the internet and TV. I met Jackie Bibby over 30 years ago when I started doing printing and Graphic design work for his family. The Bibby’s owned a purse factory in Rising Star and had just started a cap manufacturing facility there. After a while I assisted them in setting up their own in-house silk screen printing process. I always sensed Jackie was – well —, “a little different”. I didn’t realize, until I got to know him a little better, that he was destined to become a world wide celebrity of sorts.
